Why I got into coaching.....

I knew from a young age I wanted to stay around the game of baseball. As I grew up, I was rarely ever the "star player" on any team I played on at any level, but I always had a high baseball IQ and a crazy work ethic. I realized that both those traits were very helpfull in influincing young athletes. In college I thought I would end up working in the front office for a professional baseball team somewhere, but once I started in a coaching role, it was hard to think about doing anything else.

Words I live by....

I try to give 100% to anything that I do. Whether it's coaching in the cage or on the field, time with my family, or free time on the golf course or in the gym. I enjoy being busy and I enjoy working hard. Especially when it is something I am passionate about.
